We are looking for a few good people to become Referee mentors in Durham Region. This would be a volunteer position. You don't necessary need to be a referee, although it would be advantageous. The mentor would act as a support person for the new referee, someone that he/she could talk to at the game and/or call at home if they have any questions.

Training sessions will be held for the mentors in various locations within Durham Region before the 2003 season starts.

We have approx. 50 names so far for the program and we are looking to reach the 100 mark before the start of the season.

The Mentors will be identified with a golf shirt which will have the DRSA logo and Referee Mentor embroidered below.
